Volunteer Opportunity: Meals from the Heart

Volunteer to provide a home-cooked meal for our families to enjoy!
“The kitchen is the heart of every home,” and this is especially true at the new Ronald McDonald House near Lurie Children’s because of the support of our ‘Meals from the Heart’ volunteer groups who help to provide a home-cooked dinner to the families staying with us. Volunteer groups (up to 20 people) help to plan the menu, purchase the ingredients, and prepare the meals in our full service kitchen. This service gives the families time to relax and replenish after spending a long day at the hospital at their child’s bedside.
